iPhone 4S Sets New Sales Record
Apple’s iPhone 4S has got overwhelming response in USA. Apple announced iPhone 4s on October 4, 2011 and started booking on October 7, 2011. Apple Inc. has received more than ONE MILLION pre-orders in just 24 hours for the iPhone 4s, setting a new record in the history of the company.
Apple released a statement on Monday, stating that “the pre-orders of iPhone 4S have topped one million.” The previous record of 600,000 units in a day was set by the iPhone 4, which was launched in June last year.
The company said that iPhone 4S is the “most amazing phone.”
“We are blown away with the incredible customer response to iPhone 4S,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice-President of product marketing worldwide.
He further said that “The first day pre-orders for iPhone 4S have been the most for any new product that Apple has ever launched and we are thrilled that customers love iPhone 4S as much as we do.”
Although the iPhone 4S apparently similar to iPhone 4, some noticeable differences are:
